..warum denn nicht alle 3 Modelle als SUVs in verschiedene Größen auf den Markt bringen?
Ein paar stylische Designmerkmale vom Stratos usw. drangeklebt und alles ist paletti. Klappt ja beim Elektromustang auch.

Naja, der Grund steht doch eindeutig und nachvollziehbar im Text:
"... Ein Mildhybrid-Setup mit 48-Volt-Technologie wäre zwar technisch machbar gewesen, allerdings wäre die CO2-Einsparung zu gering gewesen, um eine dann nötige Anhebung des Verkaufspreises zu rechtfertigen."
Ein Grecale ist eine Neuentwicklung, steht am Anfang der Laufzeit und kann eine höhere Marge einspielen über die Maserati-Einpreisung.

Der kommt im Jahr 2023 sogar vollelektrisch.

Dann kann Plattform Schorsch doch nicht so veraltet oder ungeeignet sein.

Ist sie auch nicht. Auch GranTurismo und GranCabrio kommen elektrisch auf "Schorsch". Aber A. weiß man nicht, wie teuer die Elektro-Umsetzung davon ist. Maserati kann im Luxusmarkt höhere Margen erzielen. B. sind Giulia und Stelvio schon 6/7 Jahre auf dem Markt und machen nur kleine Stückzahlen, da lohnen sich so große technische Änderungen nicht mehr.
Wenn Maserati jetzt Giorgio 1.5 nutzt, entspricht STLA Large in etwa Giorgio 2.0.
