Help! Help!

Hi All,

Was driving my AR147 one day on highway and there was a sudden lost of power. Eventually pull aside and when I looked into the engine bay, the engine block and air intake pipe leading to the engine was seen vibrating vigoriouly. Engine was turn off and failed to start after that. My mechanic told me that one of the piston was found to have no compression and eventually the engine was stripped and the valve was found to have burnt. Can anyone advise me what cause a burnt valve? Has it got to do with changing of timing belt? The timing belt was changed 3 weeks prior to the no compression problem and I wonder if improper assembly of timing belt may be a contributing factor.
