1984 US Alfa Spider Veloce Elect ???'s

I inherited from mom (she bought new). I've got 2 problems

1st - This has been an ongoing problem for years and I thinkfrom what I've read quite common... Battery goes dead and is not consistant (ie sometime I stop and wil be completely dead and others will fire right up) I've had alternator checked and it is ok ( replaced volt reg while I had alt. off). Next cleaned and replaced earth ground with heavier guage wire (starter to chassis) Cleaned ground from battery to chassis) Volt meter shows about 12v-12.5v while car is running. Battery is brand new and checks ok. Any ideas?

2nd - recent problem(s). I just had her painted and the guy removed lights (signal brake, signal, the plastic frame that holds 3 light over rear tag) I think my relays have been changed also (don't know why) I now have no back up lights, when I use my turn signals all 4 flash, no tag lights and no brake lights. I replaced all bulbs except the tag lights (he took out and did not replace, again I don't know why) I've cleaned and checked connections as well as replacing signal relay from IAP. I have not reconnected the tag lights yet because I don't know which wire connect to which connectors on the 3 brass pad that makes connection when truck closes @ (on drivers side of trunk), There are 3 sets of wires (with female connectors on ends) that come from the trunk lid; 1 is black and grounds to chassis the 2nd is a pair of yellow wires and the 3rd is a single yellow wire. Which wires connect to which connector on the brass pad (the bottom of the brass pad has the 3 male connections).
