Alfa 146 alarm key - help!

Hi,

I have a 146Ti with a dodgy alarm - it keeps going off in the middle of the night etc. I looked in the owners manual, and it says you can turn it off via a small lock in the boot, using a small alarm key.

Unfortunatley I do not have the key, and my dealer is unable to help! Does anyone know where I can get a relacement key from? This not the usual ignition key, but a small barrel type key.

Hi Clive,

you don´t need a special key. Under the right boarding (next to the bottom) in the trunk you´ll find the lock. The key you need, ist the original starter switch key. There is a small flap in the boarding. But with this lock you just switch off the alarm horn.

the lock it is totally different to the ignition/door lock - it is of a circular form factor?

any ideas?
