1973 Alfa Spider Starter

My starter has been dragging, to the point where it drags the battery down in no time. I have an opportunity to get a starter off of a 1974 GTV 2000 for next to nothing. Does anyone know if this will fit the '73 Spider? Any help, as quick as possible, would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, but...............
They come in 8 and 9 teeth!
8 won't correctly fit 9 and 9 won't correctly fit 8.

So, basically, the only way to know is to buy the other starter (sight unseen) and hope for the best? It is only $10 US anyway.
