Anyone can explain?? Thanks!
Anyone can explain?? Thanks!
Hello,
difficult to say without further information...
Looks like TS Engine ... what mileage?
Did you experience any sympthoms, problems before?
When did the problems occur .. immediately before the fatal or long standing problems?
Where some adjustments (service) made before the problems began?
Timing belt? Spark plugs?
From looking at the pictures (without further information) ...
Usually the intake valves should be dark color while the exhaust valves should be white (or at least dark gray).
The two rightmost cylinders have dark exhaust valves which indicate problems.
One Valve is cracked ("bite" on valve head) and the other ones sitting in most right cylinder seem to have developed small cracks too.
All indicates that the combustion process went wrong for some time ... could be improper timing (belt), bad fuel injector, fuel mixture (too lean) and the like...

Hi,
Thanks alot. Yes TS engine. Mileage 52000km. Service regularly at every 10000km interval. Timing belt was changed 3 weeks prior to onset of the problem by the same workshop. I suspected is due to improper assembly of timing belt too. However, the service engineer told me it has nothing to do with timing belt changed. How truth is that? As I am not technically incline, could you explain if timing belt improper assembly can cause this? If I can prove that to them with facts to backup, I will sue them and demand for a brand new engine. With regard to petrol too thin, care to explain? I've use high octane 98 from day 1.

Serious engine damaged? Safe to drive after repair? After this experience, I have to think twice changing to a car with TS engine again.
