Anyone any experience of SQUANDRA CHIP TUNING. 3-)

Can anyone use or try a chip-tuning from Squandra Tuning?

My car is a 145 1.6TS '97 Lusso.

120 bhp are enough for the Greek road conditions, but the 147Nm from 2000rpm are more than welcome.

Any other suggections or tuners ???

we have had so much discussion about chip tuning in TS-motors and believe me, if you only fit a chip in your car it would not be so good. I good tuner needs your car to optimize it!!!
the better way is to buy a 1.8 or 2.0 :)

Hi Velissarios,

From "hear say" they are quite o.k.

But from my own expereince with chip tuning (done by another Dutch company "Madeno Racing - www.madeno.com ; check my website for the details on my 1.8 ) I know that for the non-turbo engines everything is possible within very small limits.
And testing the power befor and after is very important.

Remember the absolute max. the non turbo engines can get from chiptuning is 5% which is the same as the spread in power from the factory.
So a "standard" high performance chip may give no extra power to your specific engine, may be even less!

Knowing what I know now I would not put a standard special chip in my car but spend some extra money for a "real" job.

My car is 4 years old and has already 76.000Km (not a small number for the road and weather conditions here in Athens) and Im looking spicing a little bit my living with my beauty.

Im looking for a number of things from interior upgrades to mechanical tuning, and im not settle about anything.

First on my list is a suspension upgrade. Propable with Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs or the original 2.0QV springs.

Then an exhaust, a filter upgrade, or a chiptuning or both...

The problem is, that I had, 5 years ago, lowered my old 33 and till now Im stressed up with road conditions.

I dont want to mess up the road-feeling my 145 is giving me without first trying to find the best possible way and the improvements really the car needs. And you guys are really helpful.
