Vollständige Version anzeigen : Alfa 147 - Should I buy?
Hi,
I'm thinking of buying a second hand 147 and just wondered whether any of you had any advice. What is their reliability like? Do the 147's have any common problems? Or anything i should be looking out for when i decide to buy? It will most likely be a 2001 Alfa 147 1.6 T.Spark Turismo or Lusso that i opt to buy.
Any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks
Mark
Hello Mark,
I think you shouldn´t encounter too much problems when buying a 2001 Alfa 147.
You should take care of the following:
The toothed belt (hope this is the rights translation) must be changed at 80000km. Take care that this have been done.
Often, the airbag warning light is on. This can be fixed at your dealer.
The exhaust (where the gases come out) rusted very fast at the first models, look at it.
If the front axle makes sounds, the "crosswise steerers???" can be damaged, but this doesn´t happen very often.
After all, you can buy one without expecting to much troubles.
I hope I helped you. I had some problems with the technical terms...
Yours, Dominik
was wohl Phasenschieber auf Englisch heisst?
"Crosswise Steerers" = Control arms.
"toohted Belt" = Drive belt.
