JTD tuning

As this is my first post in this forum, first of all I would like to say big hello to all alfisti! :-]

Back to the subject...I own 166 JTD 2002 (141HP) with 57kkm. I would like to chiptune the engine to at least 160HP, but...I am doing 50kkm a year and I am a little afraid of chiptuning because of that, as I wouldn´t like to have big problems with my lady from Milano. So, my question is to all of you who have chiptuned 2,4 JTD engine. What is your experience? Is appropriate for me, regarding milage form year to year? How much km have you done without problems? Thank you in advanced...

I have got a 2,4 JTF with chiptuning.
Usually I have got 136 hp but with chip there R about 160 hp.
I do yearly about 20 - 24.000 km (12.500 - 15.000 miles?).
I ´didn´t have any problems yet and my car has now nearly 100.000 km. O.K., I bought it with 60.000 km but there was already a chip in.
The problem with the chip is that the engine sometimes takes a longer time to start in winter. But I do it like this, in winter I put my chip out and in March I put it in.
Chiptuning is o.k., but don´t give full speed all the time, your engine won´t thank U.

This is my opinion.
Sorry, guya, my english is not so good so I couldn´t explain some things so good like I wanted.

Wait - you just want 160 hp? With your engine you can get with chiptuning 170 - 180 hp!!!!
