I am writing to ask if anyone has experience with Novitec turbo
conversions. Specifically their conversion for the Alfa Romeo 145
Cloverleaf.
Has anyone had one of these done or driven a car that has
been converted by them?
Was the work quality good? Was the power increase what they promised?
Did it ruin the character of the car?
Also, I am thinking of using Forza Tune (London) to get the work done,
they are the exclusive UK distributors for Novitec equipment. Does
anyone have any stories about Forza they'd like to share.
I love my 145 and although I'd like some more power I'd hate to mess with
the car so it felt different.
Can anyone offer advice?
Thanks,
Phade

Hello Phade!
Questions about the Novitec turbo conversion are also frequently asked in the german speaking forums, but it seems like as if nobody has experiences with it. The only information there is, is this article:
http://www.autojournal.de/test/tt8alfa.htm
When you type in this addess at www.google.com , you can translate it into english.
Greetings, Hendrik

Hendrik,
Thanks for your reply, I found the link very useful and Google did a good job of munging it to English. I now want the conversion even more! 0-100 in 6.2 :)
Phade...
Well here in greece nobody's is on converting the Boxer engine since it cannot conpensate any turbo.
The twin spark engine though is indicated for turbo modification. From my experiance Novitec is very good but also very expensive.Since all turbos are doing the same thing you should find a good turbo-mechanic and let him use what he thinks its best for your money or Horsepower.
There is 145 1.4 twinspark here in Athens which gets 160 bhp using a t-2 garrett turbine plus a small oil cooler grill. The car is very reliable since it driven more than 50k km.From what i know the owner of the car says that alfa should be made like this!!!
look on the forum of http://www.alfaowner.com/alfaowner/
One of the forum members here just installed a Novitec Turbo on his 147! His nick is Dre.

You have to conside...NOVITEC fit the turbo-kit only by engines with less km (<50.000km).
