I want to put 215/35 R19 on my Alfa 156 selespeed (2000 model) it still has standard suspension.

Is this possible??

Any feedback would be great thanks.

The short answer: It is possible.

But then, nothing is impossible.
It may be necessary to have minor works at the wheel-arches,
but that can only be judged once it's known which wheel size you use (e.g. 8x19) and the off-set of the rims (e.g. 35)
Bear in mind however, that the tyres are very hard at that size with very little damping.

In my humble opinion, 18" and 235/35 R18 on 8x18" rims with 35 mm off-set would be probably the best choice, if the 17" Alfa is
offering is too small for you.

Hi,

It is possible to use 19". There is one member of the Dutch 156 club who has these and reports no problems. Maybe you could contact him on the forum:

Hey thanks alot for that. I went on to that site you gave me, I couldn't do anything because I can't speak or read Dutch.

I think I will play it safe and put 215/40 R18's on it.

Should it be ok with these or should I go 235?

And What offset should I get them drilled to?

Thanks alot for you help

Don't worry, most of us speak/write/read English! :)

Look here for the "big 19 inch thread". It's got some pics

If you post some questions in English you will be answered!

hi con ,

here in germany the most usual tyre size for the "centocinquantasei" is 225/35 R 19 !:-]
i think it is the finest possibility with only a few simple body workings !

ciao matthias;)
