Hello alfisti brothers! :)
A new problem appeared recently... Dont even know what to do..
Any thoughts?
The problem:
When started first in the morning, the car stalls if i dont add a little gas. This is not too hard for me of course, BUT.... if i dont give it some gas, it becomes EXTREMELY hard to start again. It starts only from 6th-7th time and ONLY if I push gas pedal halfway down.
When the car is warm, the problem disappeares.
Details and possible solutions -
1. Fuel pump is new. Pressure is normal (2,8-3,2) when working.
2. Injectors recently cleaned
3. Sparks are new and in order (but its Golden lodge, not NGK PGR).
4. Igntion coil and wires seem alright (have normal resistance)
5. Air meter replaced recently (but it is used), works alright
6. Idle valve seems to work, but not sure - when car is working and i pull off the plug from this valve - the tries to stall, but then keeps running atnabout 1500 rpm.
7. Air filter new, fuel also
8. Coolant temp meter is new
What else to check?
Its a pity, but local Alfa dealers are such dumbasses, I will NEVER let under my hood again, those stupid morons know NOTHING about motors - I have had some experience with them.... WIth better use I could just throw money out if the window......
