147 1.6 120bhp 5d Tuning , Need Advice PLEASE

Hello dear Alfa owners,

I own a 147 1,6lt 120bhp and I am looking for a way of increasing the torque and the total power output.

Need your advice please because I dont know many things about tuning etc...

The only kit I found is from Novitec , turbo which gives ~180 bhp.

Is it reliable ? What about consumption? Have anyone tried ? Any other way ?

Take notice that my Alfa is the main family car , which is been driven by my wife also...

I know a guy that has a Novitec Supercharger on his 147 Selespeed, and his wife can drive the car without problems.

On reliability, its only been 3-4 months since he installed it, and no problems so far. Fuel consumption is slightly higher, but not more than 5%, according to the owner.

I had a ride in the car, and I can say its a truly different car after the power increase! It can hit >200kmh from a standing start under 1km distance!!!thatsit! !eek!

Here in Greece the Novitec costs around 5000 euros and you can find it in Nasmania.
