Hallo alle :)
Sorry but I don't speack German, my name is Philippe and I am French.
I have 3 Alfa Romeo. An Alfetta GTV 2000 L (1977), an Alfa 75 1800ie Scuderia (1990) and an Alfa 75 V6 3.0 QV (1990).
I have question about the famous Potenziato version. In France, a lot of persons say that a specific version of the Alfa 75 V6 3.0 was imported to Germany and Switzerland. This version is the V6 Potenziato with specific Camshaft, specific Motronic Bosh system, Specific water pump and a specific short gear box. This specific engine is more or less the same of the fabulous SZ/RZ engine.
My question is. What is the reality ? You, German friends, have you heard something about this Alfa 75 on your country ? Persons said that only 1000 of these has been imported in Germany and Switzerland.
If you have technical docs, commercial docs or more, I will be very happy to see these :)
Here, pictures of my cars !thatsit!

Ciao Philippe,
I´m not a specialist, but I never heard about a version with more than the normal 192 PS of the last V6 Version. I only know the "Limited Edition" with Twin Spark engine. But try to ask in the alfaforum.de, they know every special detail about 75.
regards to France
Manfred
This version is the V6 Potenziato with specific Camshaft, specific Motronic Bosh system, Specific water pump and a specific short gear box. This specific engine is more or less the same of the fabulous SZ/RZ engine.
the engine of the SZ/RZ got some modifcations from the V6 QV of the AR 75 which also lead to an increase of the horesepower:
specific cylinderheads with polished intake manifolds
redisigned flywheel
redisigned exhaust manifold
intake manifolds with wider diameter
waterpump: is in the base layout equal to the SZ/RZ, the only difference is the layout of the pulley
gearbox: the final ratio is 3:909 (11/43), the respective gear ratios are the same as of the 75QV
I´m not a specialist, but I never heard about a version with more than the normal 192 PS of the last V6 Version.
the SZ came with 210 HP, the RZ with 207 (which has in my point of view only homologational reasons.)

Danke schön :)
I will try to put my question on Alfaromeo.de too.
We are two guys in France with this 75 and we have some difficulties to find the correct water pomp.
A bientôt
Philippe :)
We are two guys in France with this 75 and we have some difficulties to find the correct water pump.
we zagato owners know the problem since ist is the same water pump which is not available any more.
I suggest that you get your pump overhauled.
try this:
Rem-Ex | Wasserpumpen | KFZ-/NFZ- Verschleißteile | Robert Buchner | Wir reparieren (fast) alle Wasserpumpen! (http://www.remex-wasserpumpen.de)

Thanks for the tips.
Apparently, we found a solution for adapte the water pomp of the GTV6.
I am waiting for all pictures and explanation from my colleague.

Hi Phillipe, nice pics. The black one looks like my QV in better days.
... QV and Potenziato is the same. ...
That's my level of knowledge too. Two names for the same type of car.
... We are two guys in France with this 75 and we have some difficulties to find the correct water pomp. ...
Doing the cambelt-job at my 75 QV some years ago, i was in the same situation as you and your friend now.
I needed a water pump for my car and nobody would or could deliver it. What to do?

At that time i've never heard about this company.
In the meantime "Oldtimer-Markt", a popular German magazine reported about them,
so that now many people know them.
In the past i tried to help myself.
The Standard-75-America pump doesn't fit in a QV because it will scratch at the Motronic Crankshaft pulley
with it's integrated Steel Pulley.
A pump for a 164 has another pressed on adaptor for the screwed water pump pulley than a 75 QV.
But IMHO everytime it is the same pump.
So i took a little puller to pull off the 164 pulley from the new water pump.
Before doing the same with the 75 QV pulley i've checked the little Distance between the pressed pulley adaptor and the water pump itself.
Then i weld a little "Distance-Holding-Tool" of some pieces of welding wire.
At next i put the water pump in our freezer over the night, to cool it down.
Then i take the pulley adaptor and put it on a hot cooking plate (not in my whifes kitchen :+), i have an extra one for special use ).
For the time of roundabout 2 cigarettes and 1 coffee it was on the plate.
Then i was going to take the frozen water pump, put on it my welded Distance Holder
to adjust the Distance of pulley adaptor and water pump.
At next i take the HOT adaptor from the cooking plate with a suitable Multigripper and put it on it's place on the water pump.
You have to work fast and accurate.
If the pulley adaptor was in place, i took the whole water pump and put it into a bucket, filled with cold water,
to cool it down because of the sealing ring of the pump shaft. It's made of rubber and would not like the hot adaptor nearby.
At last i took a nipper to cut off my "Distance-Tool" of welding wire from the pump and - voila :-] -
a water pump for my 75 QV was ready to install.
For a friend of mine i adapted a 75-America pump too.
That was another story and the result was not so clean and accurate as the mentioned above.
So - and because it's too late, i will not talk about it now.
Sometimes and for someone this, what i've written here is a little bit tricky.
If you try it like me, you'll do it on your own risk.
